I was instantly drawn to Kara Sullivan in this book. She was such a magnetic character. I just knew I had to read everything to see what would happen to her. Riley Sullivan was a bit more of a challenge. It could have been his alpha, strong silent persona that was tougher to get drawn in to. I spent the first part of the book trying to sort through how they were even together but once things started back on track it was easy to see. I loved the two of them the second time around. I really enjoyed the aspect that both characters knew they had a part in the way things were and agreed that it was going to take them both to get back on track. The action and adventure of both their jobs and the people they were close to was great to read as well. The overall story line had a great flow and kept me interested all the way through.
I enjoyed Jesse Lane's writing style and will be looking for more of her books to read. I give this book four stars and will recommend it to my friends.
