I was very curious about this book from the first mention of it. I was over the moon to get Claire's story. I loved her in Breaking Away which was Phillip and Reese's story. I knew she had to be a kick butt strong person but underneath was still the insecurity from growing up with her mom. I get Claire being secretive about some of her life because of her prior experiences but was still frustrated that she felt she couldn't trust Jude. I did enjoy getting to see her relationship with Phillip and Reese was even stronger. I love how they can't imagine a life without her and their unconditional love for her.
I knew Jude Sinclair was going to rock Claire's world and he did not disappoint. I was a little judgemental about his complete and total change from the womanizer on campus to Claire being his whole world but I shouldn't have been. Claire is more than worth the effort Jude put forth to get her and keep her with him. I also loved how close Jude was with his family and how they took right to Claire.
I was unsure about the shift from the Assasins's series to the Bellvue Bullies but I am convinced this was a great story and I can't wait to see another one. I give this one five stars. I love Toni Aleo's books and would recommend this one to all my friends.

My name is Toni Aleo!I am a wife, mother of two and a bulldog, and also a hopeless romantic. I have been told I have anger issues, but I think it's cause of my intense love for hockey!I am the biggest Shea Weber fan ever, and can be found during hockey season with my nose pressed against the Bridgestone Arena's glass, watching my Nashville Predators play! When my nose isn't pressed against the glass, I enjoy going to my husband and son's hockey games, my daughter's dance competition, hanging with my best friends, taking pictures, scrapbooking, and reading the latest romance novel.I have a slight Disney and Harry Potter obsession, I love things that sparkle, I love the color pink, I might have been a Disney Princess in a past life...probably Belle, and did I mention I love hockey?
